The experienced Oosthuizen was called up to the Bok camp to cover the loosehead and tighthead positions.

Nyakane hurt his ankle last Saturday in the Boks' win over Ireland in the second Test played in Johannesburg.

The 27-year-old Oosthuizen has 23 Springboks caps and recently played for the South Africa A side in their two-match series against the England Saxons.

The Springboks have a training free day on Wednesday.

The Bok team to face Ireland in the deciding third Test this Saturday will be named on Thursday.
