NEWS: Prop Coenraad Oosthuizen scooped the top award at the Sharks' award ceremony in Durban.

Oosthuizen was named Sharks' Player of the Year for 2017 after his performances in the black and white jersey. 

The Sharks' Super Rugby Player of the Season award went to centre Lukhanyo Am. His Super Rugby performances earned him selection to the Bok squad, but injury kept him from representing his country.

The Sharks' Players' Player of the Year Award went to Jean-Luc du Preez, while the Fans' Player of the Year Award was also picked up by Am.

After a string of eye-catching performances in Super Rugby and the Currie Cup, wing Sibusiso Nkosi picked up the Breakthrough Performer of the Year award.

The Currie Cup Player of the Season was awarded to Ruan Botha who led the side with aplomb.
