World rankings: Top two widens gulf

The All Blacks, the world's No.1 ranked team. increased their tally from 92.89 to 93.67 after they earned 0.78 of a rating point with their 20-18 win over South Africa.

Australia, in second position, increased their tally from 90.93 to 91.75 after  beating Argentina in their semifinal on Saturday.

South Africa remain in third position, but their loss to New Zealand has seen their tally drop from 86.8 to 86.02. Argentina hold onto fourth position, but their tally has also fallen from 85.07 to 84.24 after their loss to the Wallabies.

Argentina will have the chance to move up to third on the rankings if they beat South Africa in their World Cup third-place play-off on Friday.
