It was an 11-try thriller at Donnybrook as Wales ended up the winners by three points out of 79.

Wales led 19-10 at half-time.

With five minutes Wales led 41-31 but back came Ireland and the score of 41-38 looked fragile as the desperate Irish piled into the calm Welsh who hung on for an exciting victory in a most entertaining match.
