More French foreigners

France has more foreign players than ever for the coming season, according to Midi Olympique.

This season there are 207 foreigners from 22 countries who will be playing for Top 14 clubs, That is an average of  just under 15 power club. Last season there were 185 foreigners.

The club which has most foreigners is Brive with 24. The clubs with the fewest are Bourgoin, Dax and Mont-de-Marsan with fewer than 10.

South Africa is the biggest provider of foreign players with 48. The position which has accommodated most foreigners is props with 43 - three props per club on average.

In Pro D2, things are different with a decline in foreigners from 182 to 165.
