Murray set to miss Saints' GP opener

Euan Murray looks set to miss the start of the Guinness Premiership season after requiring surgery on the leg he injured on tour with the British and Irish Lions.
The Scottish international missed out on the 2-1 Lions series defeat to South Africa and is likely to miss Saints' Guinness Premiership opener on September 5 against Worcester.
The Northampton Saints' will be depleted in the prop department as new signing Brian Mujati from Western Province will only join up with the club after the Currie Cup season's completion in November.
This leaves Argentinean Santiago Bonorino, and Jon Vickers and Regardt Dreyer to cover the tighthead position until Murray's return, the timing of which remains uncertain.
"I am not putting a timetable on my recovery – it will take as long as it takes
"I had surgery last week and hopefully that has done the trick.
"The whole business has been very frustrating and I am just focusing on getting back to rugby as soon as possible."
The front row veteran's injury was worse than initially thought, with a broken bone in his shin needing two pins inserted into it along with ankle ligament damage.
Meanwhile,there is speculation that Saints' Guinness Premiership away clash with Saracens is set to be moved to Wembley on September 12, as Saracens finalise plans to move certain fixtures from Vicarage road to the 90 000-seat football stadium.
