Successful surgery for Dragons star

Mon, 08 Feb 2010 13:18

According to a statement released on the Dragons' official website, injury-plagued back row Joe Bearman has come through his latest operation very well and is already hard at work in his rehabilitation.

"Joe Bearman underwent a successful operation on his groin on Friday following the injury he picked up earlier in the season," read the statement on the website.

"Despite early indications that surgery could be avoided, it was decided that going under the knife was the best option for the No.8.

"Joe will now be following a rehabilitation programme which should see him back in action for the region before the end of the season."
