France waiting on injured trio

Mon, 08 Feb 2010 15:57

France coach Marc Lievremont has named an unchanged squad to play Ireland on Saturday despite three players requiring medical examinations.

During France's 18-9 win over Scotland Aurelien Rougerie, Benjamin Fall and Luc Ducalcon all picked up injuries and will undergo tests to establish their availability for the meeting with Ireland this weekend.

"The squad of 23 players has been retained despite some doubts," said Lievremont.

"We'll know more about it this (Monday) evening."

It was revealed that wing Aurelien Rougerie, who was replaced by Vincent Clerc in the fifth minute, had strained his neck.
