Ouedraogo hobbles out of contention

Sat, 13 Mar 2010 16:08

French back row forward Fulgence Ouedraogo saw his hopes of a Six Nations recall shattered on Friday when he suffered a knee injury in Toulouse's 34-3 Top 14 league win over Montpellier.

Ouedraogo was hurt after just seven minutes of the game and will be sidelined for "two-three weeks", said a club spokesman.

Ouedraogo had hoped to return to the French squad for the final Six Nations match against England in Paris on March 20, a game which could see the home side clinch the grand slam.
