Thu, 27 Mar 2008 14:04

The Under-18 Six Nations Festival kicked off in Cork in Ireland's deep south with a hefty defeat for the home side.

The Festival was launched aboard the Irish naval ship the LE Roisin in Cork city on Tuesday. Battle commenced on the playing fields of Cork on Wednesday, when the home side was sunk by the Welsh.

England had a huge win over Italy before the well-prepared Scots sprung something of a surprise on France.
