S14 Round Five predictions

Wed, 12 Mar 2008 22:26

Super 14 at large

It is that time of the week again, when we venture out into the dangerous arena of Super 14 predictions. The one burning question remains: 'Can the chasing pack catch leaders Johan Greyling and John Granger?'

Greyling is the leader in our 'readers versus staff prediction game' with 35 points, followed closely by Granger (34).

However, while one point separates the two top boys, the rest are at least seven points adrift - Phil Coetzer (at 27), along with Rob Peters and Steve Farrell (both 26) leading the chasing pack.

Closing the gap will be significantly more difficult in the coming weeks, as for the next seven weeks two teams will have a bye - meaning there is one less game to score in!

Let him go to France!
Keep him in Pretoria, are contracts not worth anything?
Nothing, he’s made a fool of himself already.
