Greyling moves clear

Mon, 24 Mar 2008 11:13

Johan Greyling has opened up some space between himself and the chasing bunch at the top in our Super 14 'readers versus staff prediction game'.

After a weekend of indifferent results, in which some 'experts' produced solid results and other some real shockers (read Jan de Koning here!) Greyling opened a two-point gap over defending champion John Granger - who is still comfortable in second place.

However, there was plenty of movement below them.

The big mover was Rudolf Mehl, who sprinted into third place with a seven-point haul for the weekend.

Also improving their positions were Phil Coetzer and Rob Peters, while De Koning appears to be dropping out the bottom.

Standings after Week Six:
46 - Johan Greyling
44 - John Granger
38 - Rudolf Mehl
37 - Phil Coetzer, Rob Peters
