Ouch! Yes, that is all we can say about the past weekend's results in our 'readers versus staff' prediction showdown.

When the top scorer for the week gets just 50 percent, you know it was a bad week ... very, very bad week.

The top scorer in this case was leader Johan Greyling, who got six points out of a possible 12 and stretched his lead to a handy seven points over defending champion John Granger - the latter getting just two points in a weekend that hurt most.

Granger is now just three points ahead of third-placed Rudolf Mehl, who managed a mere four points.
