S14 Round 10 Predictions

Thu, 17 Apr 2008 09:36

The rugby365 Crystal Ball

It is that time of the week again, when we venture out into the dangerous arena of Super 14 predictions. After last week's mixed bag by our resident 'experts', there are a few 'players' with plenty of ground to make up!

Johan Greyling now has an 11-point lead over second-placed John Granger, who has had his advantage over the chasing pack slashed dramatically.

Just one point now separate Granger from third place - with Steve Farrell flying the editorial flag, with Rudolf Mehl a further point back in fourth place. It seems like a dash fro the line to finish second.

Phil Coetzer and Rob Peters will be looking to close the gap on the top three, but have their work cut out for them.

However, for Jan de Koning and Hennie van Staden it is going to be a long season as they try avoiding propping up the bottom. They are involved in a battle of their own.

We are now approaching the home strait and nobody can afford anymore shockers.

Closing the gap will remain a challenge as for the next two weeks when two teams still have a bye - meaning there are only six games to score in!

Predictions for Week 10:

Let him go to France!
Keep him in Pretoria, are contracts not worth anything?
Nothing, he’s made a fool of himself already.
