S14 Round 11 Predictions

Wed, 23 Apr 2008 22:36

The rugby365 Crystal Ball

It is that time of the week again, when we venture out into the dangerous arena of Super 14 predictions. After last week's setbacks for the leaders, the last few weeks may just become very interesting at the top.

Johan Greyling has had his lead cut back to 10 points - still a comfortable advantage, but any further slip-ups and he will open the back door for the chasing pack.

Steve Farrell is the man now in second spot and made some interesting calls last week that paid off. Phil Coetzer, in joint third (with defending champion John Granger) a couple of points back, also made a bold move.

Rudolf Mehl and Rob Peters are playing for honour, while Jan de Koning and Hennie van Staden are continuing their battle at the bottom.

It is the last weekend of byes (when we have just six games) and then for the final three weeks there will be two extra points up for grabs.

It is going to get interesting in the home stretch.

Let him go to France!
Keep him in Pretoria, are contracts not worth anything?
Nothing, he’s made a fool of himself already.
