Player ratings: The real champion
The 41-13 victory ensured that they remain outright favourites when the World Cup gets underway next month and also saw them retain the Bledisloe Cup.
It was sweet revenge for last week's loss to the Wallabies, but more important it showed just how devastating the All Blacks can be.

15 Ben Smith:
Again showed just how dangerous he can be on attack, while made his tackles when called upon.

14 Nehe Milner-Skudder:
Hardly saw any ball in the first half and missed as many tackles as he made. However, made a crucial break and miracle offload early in the second half that showed his true value.

13 Conrad Smith:
He may concede the occasional penalty, such as playing a man in the air, but it is his workrate and the subtle things he does that makes him the world's best outside centre.

12 Ma'a Nonu:
He showed why he and Conrad Smith are the best centre pairing in the world. Even though he missed a tackle, his work with ball-in-hand proved to be too much for the Wallabies. Showed some nice touches as well.

11 Julian Savea:
After a quiet first half, he burst into life after the break and made plenty of metres with ball in hand. His workrate can improve.

10 Daniel Carter:
Brilliant break for opening try of the match and showed he is far from a spent force – as some cynics in New Zealand would have us believe.

9 Aaron Smith:
He just wasn't as accurate and clinical as always – a few too many errors in the first half. Settled down to his usual class after the break.

8 Kieran Read:
He missed more tackles than you would expect from a player of his calibre. At times his workrate was also not what you have come to expect of Read, but was a valuable line-out asset and at times showed his sublime touches.

7 Richie McCaw (captain):
Penalised at rucks, perhaps just doing his job, but some of his offences were borderline cynical. Still a valuable player to the All Blacks and showed why he is the world's most capped player.

6 Victor Vito:
The All Blacks' most valuable loose forward and may well have booked himself a place in New Zealand's World Cup team.

5 Samuel Whitelock:
Crucial early line-out steal and then another turnover won at a ruck near his own line. His workrate on defence is phenomenal.

4 Brodie Retallick:
Worked really hard in the close exchanges and while he missed a couple of tackles, made some good ground with ball in hand at times.

3 Owen Franks:
After some early pressure he settled down in the scrums and worked hard on defence. Missed a couple though.

2 Dane Coles:
Again showed his speed and value as a mobile hooker. There may be those that questions his value in the set pieces, but he is growing into the role.

Misses tackles, collapsed in the scrum and conceded penalties. The one weak link in the mighty All Black pack.
