OPINION: The Barbarians were out to entertain on Saturday and they did just that during their 31-all draw against the Springboks.

Robbie Deans' side showed some great skill with ball in hand and were definitely the better team far a large majority of the 80 minutes at the Wembley Stadium.

Warren Fortune rates the Barbarians!

15 Melani Nanai:
His vision for the gap was brilliant and he tore the Boks' defence to pieces on a number of occasions.

Showed some great quick thinking on attack and had a big hand in one of his team's tries.

13 Seta Tamanivalu:
He was a bit quiet at times in the midfield, but he delivered with ball in hand when he needed to.

He was a hard man to tackle and he was solid on defence in the midfield for the BaaBaas.

He made Sergeal Petersen and several other players Springbok players look like schoolboys when he ran at them. He broke a number of tackles and scored a try as well.

He did what he needed to do for the Barbarians - he can hold his head up high.

His distribution to his backline was fantastic and his decision making helped take some pressure off Robert du Preez.

He crossed the advantage line on few occasions and gave the Baabaas some much-needed grunt.

7 Jordan Taufua
The flank was quite brutal on defence at times and-and made his presence felt at the breakdowns.

He loved running with the ball in open space and he put in a few good tackles as well.

His work rate around the park was phenomenal and he secured plenty of ball at line-out time for his team as well.

4 Martin Muller:
He was not as influential as his second-row partner, but he did do his bit in the physical exchanges.

3 Paddy Ryan:
The prop struggled in the scrums and he was not much better in open play as well.

2 Armand van der Merwe:
The Angry Warthog showed plenty of fight and grunt in open play and he was determined to outshine Malcolm Marx.
