Team of the Week: Just too easy

After their 57-0 win against the old foe, the All Blacks have a whopping nine players in our team this week.

Australia has four players after their 45-20 victory over Argentina. Despite the defeat, Argentina are also represented with two players.

For obvious reasons there are no players from South Africa in our Round Four Team of the Week.

Israel Folau, Nehe Milner-Skudder and Rieko Ioane fill our back three spots this week with Ryan Crotty and Kurtley Beale in the midfield.

Beauden Barrett is our No.10 with his partner Aaron Smith getting the No.9 spot.

In the pack, Tomas Lezana, Michael Hooper and Pablo Matera are our choices for the back row. All Blacks Samuel Whitelock and Brodie Retallick are our locks.

In the front row, we have Nepo Laulala, Dane Coles and Scott Sio.

Team of the Week – Round Four:

15 – Israel Folau (Australia)

He was outstanding on attack once again. He scored two tries and was a constant threat in open space.

Bubbling under: Damian McKenzie (New Zealand)

14 – Nehe Milner-Skudder (New Zealand)

He exposed some of the weaknesses in the Springboks' backline and he scored two tries as well.

Bubbling under: Matias Moroni (Argentina)

13 – Ryan Crotty (New Zealand)

His distribution and decision-making in that midfield channel made his outside backs look good against the Springboks.

Bubbling under: Tevita Kuridrani (Australia)

12 – Kurtley Beale (Australia)

It was not his best showing, but he was still very influential in the Wallabies' attack out wide against the Pumas.

Bubbling under: Jeronimo de la Fuente (Argentina)

11 – Rieko Ioane (New Zealand)

He took advantage of the Springboks' weak defending out wide to put in another memorable performance.

Bubbling under: Reece Hodge (Australia)

10 – Beauden Barrett (New Zealand)

He had a field day on attack against the Springboks and his goal-kicking improved a lot in Albany as well.

Bubbling under: Bernard Foley (Australia)

9 – Aaron Smith (New Zealand)

His awareness around the field and his distribution on attack is second to none in the world.

Bubbling under: Will Genia (Australia)

8 – Tomas Lezana (Argentina)

He was a colossus in open play and he tackled like a man possessed against the Wallabies.

Bubbling under: Kieran Read (New Zealand)

7 – Michael Hooper (Australia)

The captain was truly amazing on defence making over 20 tackles and not missing one. He was also a handful with ball in hand.

Bubbling under: Sam Cane (New Zealand)

6 – Pablo Matera (Argentina)

He caused the Wallabies a few problems with his robust style of play. He hardly put a foot wrong in that match.

Bubbling under: Liam Squire (New Zealand)

5 – Samuel Whitelock (New Zealand)

He was solid in the line-outs and he put the Boks under pressure in that area. He also did his part in an incredible defensive display.

Bubbling under: Adam Coleman (Australia)

4 – Brodie Retallick (New Zealand)

He certainly enjoyed himself against the Springboks. He ran the ball with great intent and he was one of his team's try scorers.

Bubbling under: Rob Simmons (Australia)

3 – Nepo Laulala (New Zealand)

We guess it was a solid enough performance in the scrums against a Springbok pack that threatened to dominate, but didn't.

Bubbling under: Nahuel Tetaz Chaparro (Argentina)

2 – Dane Coles (New Zealand)

He was a livewire with ball in hand and was solid in defence as well.

Bubbling under: Agustin Creevy (Argentina)

1 – Scott Sio (Australia)

He was solid scrums, but it was his contribution in open play that really stood out.

Bubbling under: Kane Hames (New Zealand)
