OPINION: South African and Australia played to another disappointing draw, 27-all in Bloemfontein on Saturday.

The result means New Zealand retained the Rugby Championship for a fifth successive year.

15 Andries Coetzee:
Good kicking early on and had a few runs, but not much time and space on the ball.

14 Dillyn Leyds:
Constantly looking for work and worked hard on defence Had a few good touches and created space wide.

13 Jesse Kriel:
Good early break and showed a few glimpses overall good performance.

12 Jan Serfontein:
Strong performance in the midfield had a few good carries but missed a crucial tackle that led to a try.

11 Courtnall Skosan:
Great intent shown by the wing, worked hard on and off the ball.

10 Elton Jantjies:
Solid performance at pivot and good kicking, but did not take the defensive line on enough. Tough luck on that last kick.

9 Ross Cronje:
Very strong performance, good service and put his body on the line at times.

8 Uzair Cassiem:
Replaced 18th min by Du Preez, had a quiet opening few minutes.

7 Francois Louw:
Good performance back in the Bok jersey. Had few opportunities on the ground but worked hard on and off the ball.

6 Siyamthanda Kolisi:
Very strong performance from Kolisi. Set up second try. Continuing his superb form of the season.

5 Franco Mostert:
Strong performance by Mostert, leading the defensive chargers and had a few strong carries. Secured his line-out ball and put pressure on the oppositions line-outs.

4 Eben Etzebeth:
Strong performance by the captain. Had a few strong runs early in the game and continued to work throughout.

3 Ruan Dreyer:
First try for the Boks . However, he struggled at the scrums.

2 Malcolm Marx:
Very strong performance by the hooker, even though he missed three line-out balls. Got involved in all aspects of the game.

1 Tendai Mtawarira:
Had a few good runs and gained valuable metres for his team. Much better performance by the Beast.


23 Damian de Allende (on for Serfontein, 70th min):
Bot enough time to be rated.

22 Handré Pollard:
Not used.

21 Rudy Paige (on for Cronje, 75th min):
Not enough time to be rated.

20 Jean-Luc Du Preez (on for Cassiem, 18th min):
Immediately made a difference with his powerful carries, which continued throughout the game.

19 Pieter-Steph Du Toit (on for Louw, 67th min):

18 Trevor Nyakane (in for Dreyer, 58th min):
Made an impact with a crucial turnover that put them on the front foot.
