OPINION: Australia will be as disappointed as South Africa with their 27-all draw in Bloemfontein on Saturday.

The result means New Zealand retained the Rugby Championship for a fifth successive year - with the Wallabies and Springboks now contesting second place in the tournament.

Jeremy Papier rates the Australian players!

15 Israel Folau:
Scored the first try for the Wallabies with a well-timed run and looked dangerous with ball in hand throughout the game.

14 Marika Koroibete:
Not much ball in the first half, but definitely showed some glimpses in the second half and finished a good try.

13 Tevita Kuridrani:
Defensively solid, but did not get any opportunities on the attack.

12 Kurtley Beale:
Sublime performance by this man, continuing his recent form. Took a few very hard knocks on defence, but came back even more determined.

11 Reece Hodge:
Useful with the boot, but otherwise uninvolved and lacked intent.

10 Bernard Foley:
Good kicking early on, but there was a mistake with boot on in the 28th minute. Overcooked a few kicks. Set up second try for wing Koroibete.

9 Will Genia
Good service, but lacked defensive effort and not willing to put his body on the line.

8 Sean McMahon:
Defensively strong and good under high ball, but lacked offensive intent.

7 Michael Hooper:
Won some early turnovers that relieved pressure at crucial times. Had a very strong game on defence.

6 Jack Dempsey:
Uninvolved throughout the game made a few tackles, but did not make much of an impact.

5 Adam Coleman
Few carries and tackles, but showed intent.

4 Izack Rodda:
Not much work on and off the ball and did not show much intent.

3 Sekope Kepu:
Very few carries and not many tackles.

2 Tatafu Polota-Nau:
Few carries and tackles, but had a few solid line-out throws.

1 Scott Sio:
Not really involved in the game and struggled at times when it came to scrumming.

Not enough time to be rated.

22 Nick Phipps (on for Genia, 76th min):
