Team of the Week: Vamos!

The Argentinian side has three players in our selection this week following that 54-24 win in Buenos Aires. The Crusaders and the Waratahs are the other teams with three players in our XV.

In the backline, Israel Folau is at fullback with Bautista Delguy and George Bridge on the wings. Jesse Kriel and Kurtley Beale are our midfielders this week.

Bernard Foley is our pick at No.10 with fellow Aussie Joe Powell at No.9.

In the pack, Jordan Taufua is at No.8 with Marcos Kremer and Albertus Smith on the flanks. Our second row consists of Sam Lousi and Scott Barrett.

In the front row, we have Jeffrey Toomaga-Allen, Agustin Creevy and Tendai Mtawarira.

15 – Israel Folau (Waratahs)

He was a force on attack against the Highlanders and scored two tries in the win.

14 – Bautista Delguy (Jaguares)

He made good use of the ball he was given in the win over the Bulls. The Bulls struggled to deal with his pace and he scored two tries as well.

He was a constant threat with ball in hand against the Jaguares. He broke through the Jaguares’ defence a few times and he was solid on defence.

12 – Kurtley Beale (Waratahs)

He shared first receiver duties with Bernard Foley and his distribution was impeccable against the Highlanders. He also had a few good runs as well.

11 – George Bridge (Crusaders)

Showed great guile out wide against the Blues and he defended his channel well.

He flourished on attack against the Highlanders and like his teammate Kurtley Beale, he gave his outside backs some quality ball.

He gave his backline quick and quality ball against the Lions in Johannesburg.

8 – Jordan Taufua (Crusaders)

The No.8 was powerful with ball in hand against the Blues and he got his team over the gain-line. He was a star on defence as well.

The big man was brilliant against the Bulls. His work rate on attack was phenomenal and he tackled like a man possessed.

Another energetic performance by the loose forward. He made several good carries and was strong on defence as well.

His pace and power were too much for the Reds to handle at times.

4 – Scott Barrett (Crusaders)

He stood up physically against the Blues, especially on defence where he made a number of big tackles.

His work rate was unbelievable around the park against the Reds. One of the best performances by a prop this season.

He was an important ball carrier against the Bulls and he flourished while he was on the field. He smashed into the Bulls' defence with great aggression and he made some serious metres.

He showed why he still one of the best in South Africa. He was solid in the scrums and played his part in open play as well.
