Free State vs Eastern Province, 5-3

In a tight contest between Eastern Province and Free State neither team was able to add to their half-time score with the contest ending 5-3 in favour of Free State. The sole try of the game came in the 22nd minute when Free State's Tyron Schultz crossed the line. Two minutes later, Jan Serfontein gave the Eastern Province boys three points with a penalty kick. The rest of the game was a tale of missed penalty kicks and missed drop kicks as both sides chased the win.

Pumas XV vs Border Country Districts, 50-15

The home side's second stringers were determined to leave their mark on the final day, winning comfortably 50-15. The hosts showed they meant business when they scored a try in the 3rd minute via Johannes van der Westhuizen. Daniel Grobler converted. Two minutes later Buhle Mtyana kicked a penalty for the visitors. Grobler himself got a try in the 7th minute, but missed the conversion. In the 12th and 17th minutes, the Pumas scored tries via Cornelius van der Schyff and Clinton Liebenberg, respectively. Grobler managed to convert the latter. Border's Bongani Qumpula responded with a try in the 19th minute, converted by Mtyana. However, the Pumas had the last word in the first half, when Sanele Dlamini scored a try in the 22nd minute, converted by McDonald Sithole. In the 35th minute Siphesihle Lukhele added five points for the Pumas, with Sithole again converting. Border's Lwandile Dabalele scored a try in the 40th minute, which Mtyana failed to convert. Lukhele's try in the 43rd minute was again converted by Sithole. The last points of the day came from Buhle Nkosi's try in the 49th minute for the home side.

KwaZulu Natal vs Border, 21-17

KwaZulu Natal avenged Tuesday's defeat by Eastern Cape side with a close 21 -17 win against Border on the final day. In yet another tight contest, the first points came after 13 minutes, with Frederick Zeilinga's penalty kick for KwaZulu Natal. It was followed by Chesney Botha's try in the 17th. James Alldermans penalty kick earned Border's first points for the day in the 22nd minute. However, they were shocked when Gary Schwarz crossed the try line a minute later for KwaZulu Natal. Three minutes later Lonwabo Ntleki ended the first half with a try for Border, converted by Allderman. KwaZulu Natal's last eight points came from a Zeilinga penalty and a second try by Schwarz. Border got a consolation try in the 46th minute via Andile Jho, which was converted by Jason Germishuys.

Golden Lions vs Griffons, 30-3

The Griffons clearly could not stand the roar of the Golden Lions when they conceded defeat by 30-3. The Golden Lions scored four tries in a one-sided contest. The Griffons scoring their only points in the 2nd minute, via a penalty kick by Luan van Rensburg but it was all downhill from there for the Northern Free Staters. David Schmidt opened the account for the Golden Lions in the 7th minute with a penalty kick, followed by a try by Kojo Asiedu-Darkwan (15th minute). Ashley Perriera added a try for the Golden Lions in the 19th minute, converted by Schmidt to see them lead 15-3 at the break. In the second half Schmidt added another penalty kick, followed by two tries from Justin van Wyk (48th) and Altonio Jantjies (50th). Jantjies' try was converted by Schmidt.

Boland vs Namibia, 14-8

Boland added to Namibia's tournament woes with a deserved 14-8 win on the final day. Boland sought to stamp their authority early on and took the lead in the 8th minute when they scored a try via Ruaan van Rooy, which was converted by Jamery Carelse. Namibia responsed with a penalty by Heinrich Kapolo before the break. In the second half, Van Rooy added a second try for Boland in the 39th minute, which was again converted by Carelse.  Meyer Moolman gave the Namibians a consolation try in the  49th minute.

Valke vs Griquas, 9-0

The East Rand side gave their Griquas counterparts very little space to breathe, edging them out 9-0 in a close encounter that failed to produce a try. In the first minute, the Valke took the lead via a penalty kick from Ruan Barnard. In the 40th minute, Barnard doubled the lead with a second penalty and the final points of the game came from Michael Holtzhausen's drop kick in the 47th minute.

Pumas vs South Western Districts, 13-10

The hosts turned around a 0-7 half-time deficit in a nail-biting contest to end the tournament on a high against SWD. The team from the Southern Cape dominated the first half, with a try in the 22nd minute by Doverno Bowers and a conversion by Johannes Potgieter marking the only points of the first 25 minutes. Immediately after the break, the home side began their comeback with Mcebo Khumalo's try, converted by Johannes Scheepers. In the 29th minute, Potgieter's penalty extended the SWD lead to 10-7 but the  Pumas sealed victory with two penalty kicks by Scheepers in the final seven minutes.

Limpopo vs Leopards , 16-10

Limpopo weathered a strong second half fight-back by the Leopards to prevail 16-10 despite not scoring any points in the second half. Limpopo took a 5-0 lead in the second minute, thanks to a try by Juan Kotze, who later added two penalties (14th and 17th minutes), and a second try n the 22nd minute to give his side a 16-0 cushion at the break. The Leopards fought back bravely, scoring two late tries through Baracah Sehloho (37th) and Britz Niemand (42nd) but it was too little too late.

Blue Bulls vs Western Province, 6-3

In a typical clash between these two traditional foes, the young Blue Bulls held their nerve to register a narrow 6-3 win. The Blue Bulls made the most of their few first half chances with Morne van der Berg kicking two penalties to give his team a 6-0 advantage at the break. Western Province narrowed the deficit in the 28th minute with a drop goal by Errol Jaggers.  Both sides played attacking rugby in the second spell but there were few chances on either side and the Blue Bulls held on for the win.
