Grey College overpower PBHS

Mon, 04 Aug 2008 15:36

Grey College steamrolled past Pretoria Boys' High in their interschools match in Bloemfontein.

The team from Bloemfontein was in devastating form beating the visitors 82-10 after leading 33-3 at the break. SA School's flyhalf, Franna du Toit, scored 25 of his team's points. Du Toit also marshalled the backline very well.

SA School's centre, Francois Venter, scored a brace of tries after replacing Spoed Smith. Hopefully Smith, who left the field bevcause of an injury, will be ready to face Glenwood in Durban this coming Saturday. The replacement prop, Stephan Kotze, also powered over for two tries late in the match. The whole Grey team played extremely well and it felt as if they could'nt do anything wrong on the day.

Scorers:

For Grey College:

Francois Venter 2, Stephan Kotze 2, John-Henry Harris, Riaan Britz, Johan Swanepoel, Ernst Dinkelman, Franna du Toit, AJ Coertzen, Cobus Reinach, Piet Lindeque.
Cons: Du Toit 10, Lindeque

For Pretoria Boys High:

He obviously knows the Bible well
He is just deflecting attention away from his lack of coaching knowledge
He should leaves his sermons for the dressing room
