Glenwood and Grey meet
Fri, 08 Aug 2008 11:49
The Grey College of Bloemfontein convoy goes over the Drakensberg and drops down on Durban for a series of sporting events with Glenwood, culminating in the 1st XV match, a clash between two top schools.
Grey are unbeaten and Glenwood have lost only once, their very first match of the season. Glenwood regards this as probably the school's best rugby season in its 98-year history.
The last time Grey College lost was in 2006 when they lost to Glenwood in Durban and then Paul Roos. Grey meet Glenwood this week and Paul Roos next week.
The two captains for the match, Shaun Malton of Glenwood and Franna du Toit of Grey, will be playing together for South African Schools.
Apart from rugby, there will be hockey, soccer, chess, debating, cycling, tennis, table tennis, crosscountry and golf.
