This was it. for most schools it was a farewell to thew 2010 season, so quickly over. It seems there is just Die Burger's Finals left. But there were some big results. For several schools it was the climax to the season.
There were the four finals of the Beeldtrofee, won by Monnas, Ben Vorster, Nylstroom and Alberton High.
There was the big match in Bloemfontein when Paul Roos went to play - an expansive match and a tough one for the visitors to lose after scoring four tries to two, and Grey's second try was scored in the last movement of the match.
There were several other derbies - at Framesby, Boland Landbou, SACS, Hugenote, Swellendam and Mossel Bay, for example.
Then there were the semifinals of Die Burger's competition.
Bishops and Rondebosch play twice a year. The last draw was in 1978.
