Pick your schoolboy star

Wed, 08 Sep 2010 16:15

Reyneke (left), Goosen (middle) and Jho (right) - Take your pick from 2010!

The schools season is over and the exam season is starting already. The interest in schools rugby in South Africa continues unabated and one is astonished at the detailed knowledge of many so many players. We could harness this.

Henri Burger of far-off Tzaneen has written that in his opinion the star player of 2010 is Paul Jordaan, the Grey College centre.

Tony Stoops who takes an intense interest in schools rugby says that for him the star player he has seen is Tim Swiel, the Bishops fullback.

Grant Combrinck of Parow says that the star player he has seen this year is Jody Reyneke, the Tygerberg loose forward.

It would be interesting to hear from readers to see whom they regard as their 2010 star player.

Maybe we can pick our rugby365.com All-Star team?!
