Big Bishops win

Bishops beat sister school St Andrew's College of Grahamstown 64-18 on the Piley Rees Field on Wednesday before a large and enthusiastic crowd.
The size of the result is a great surprise, as far as can be ascertained the biggest score between the two schools since they first played in 1896 and the biggest margin of victory.
At half-time the home side led 36-3.
The two schools, both Anglican foundations of the mid-19th century, have maintained a keen rivalry, as the large number of Old Boys of both schools who arrived for the match.
The referee for the afternoon was Jonathan Kaplan.
St Andrew's started on the attack with a fine run by James Price on the right wing but Bishops scored first when, after five minutes, outside centre Nico Loizides broke and sent speedster Chezre Arendse over for a try which Paul Cohen converted. A minute later it was 12-0 when scrumhalf Stacy Liddell sent flank Nizaam Carr over.
From then on till substitutes came flooding on it was all Bishops, apart from one concerted attack following a penalty that resulted in a try for James Gotts.
