Gimmies Sportfees - Results Day 2

Thu, 01 May 2008 16:23

Paarl Gim again had a good win but their neighbours and rivals, Boys' High and Landbou, both suffered defeats.

Apart from the rugby there was also hockey and netball at the festival.

Gim have now beaten Affies and Oakdale, two strong schools. But the Witbulle came back to beat Boys' High.

Boland Landbou beat Daniël Pienaar of Uitenhage but lost to Framesby of Port Elizabeth.

The Glenwood side taking part in the Festival is not their full side as the school is at present South Africa's representative at the SANIX World Youth Rugby Tournament in Japan. Bravely they accepted the invitation to attend the Gimmies 150th birthday party.
