Top 20 - 12 August

Tue, 12 Aug 2008 18:39

The top continues to be cluttered. After this week we are going to have a long, hard think.

Grey College won a grand tussle with Glenwood, Grey High beat Selborne in East London and Waterkloof beat EG Jansen. The other two top-six schools, Paarl Gim and Paul Roos did not play.

In fact rugby is virtually finished in some parts, especially in KwaZulu Natal.

Lower down in the table Kemptonpark beat HTS Middelburg while Bishops came racing back with a strong win.

1. Paarl Gim, Grey College of Bloemfontein
3. Grey High of Port Elizabeth, Waterkloof, Glenwood
6. Paul Roos, Dr EG Jansen
8. Michaelhouse, Outeniqua
10. Affies
11. Framesby
12. Paarl Boys' High
13. Selborne
14. Rondebosch
15. Oakdale
16. Die Brandwag
17. Bishops
18. Afrikaanse Hoërskool Kroonstad
19. HTS Middelburg
20. Voortrekker (Bethlehem)

The schools close to the Top 20 include Daniël Pienaar, Kemptonpark, Marlow, St Andrew's College, Schoonspruit of Malmesbury and Wynberg.
