Tue, 24 May 2005 15:48

Gim, Affies move up

There are all sorts of Craven Week trial things to interfere with the normal running of happy schools rugby. But there have been some big matches, and there are some changes to the FNB Top 20 this week.

Paarl Gim battled to beat Outeniqua in George and move up, and Grey Bloem, blew a 20-3 lead at half-time against Affies in Bloemfontein and move down while Affies move up.

Boland Landbou had two good wins in the week.

Down in the central part of the country, Diamantveld beat Jim Fouché in Kimberley.

In the deep south Strand went over to Wellington and got a hiding from Hugenote.

This week we bring in Bishops who have been improving ever since their victory over Paarl Boys' High and St Andrew's of Grahamstown who also have an exciting side.
