FNB Top 20 - 7 June

Tue, 07 Jun 2005 15:44

And there is movement

There were three big results this weekend - St Andrew's thrilling victory over Grey PE, Bishops' thrilling victory over Paul Roos and Daniël Pienaar's big victory over Waterkloof. Just those three results have meant movement.

In addition Paarl Boys' high beat their Agter-Paarl neighbours, always a close encounter.

Some of the positions are tight and we have had to take into consideration calibre of opposition. For this reason we have moved Rustenburg and Diamantveld who are yet to play FNB Top 20 opposition. It is hard enough to judge school against school and too difficult when they play top opposition rarely or not at all. Just gently we have let them settle down.

Hilton have come in for the first time this year. They and College, who have come back on, could well have a battle royal this weekend in an FNB Classic Clash.

Those moving up are Paarl Gim, Paarl Boys' High. Bishops, St Andrew's and Pretoria Boys High.
