Jake White the Lion tamer?

World Cup-winning former Springbok coach Jake White has admitted he could be tempted to coach the British and Irish Lions next year.
The Lions will undertake their scheduled tour of South Africa in 2009.
White, who led the Springboks to the Webb Ellis Cup last year, is currently employed by a marketing firm in Johannesburg, after opting not to re-apply for his Bok job when his deal expired in December.
The South African could take his pick from some of the highest profile jobs in world rugby following his success with the Boks, but he admitted on Saturday that he would relish leading the Lions back to his homeland.
"I'd never say never. They haven't asked me specifically, but it's something I would consider," he told the BBC.
"I'd always consider it, it comes around once every four years and it's a great honour to coach the Lions.
"The Lions is a massive thing. And let's face it, the next tour is playing against the world champions."
