Cheetahs hoping for Bok booster

The Free State Cheetahs will only know which of their Springboks will be available for Currie Cup duty next weekend against Western Province after the adjournment of an SA Rugby meeting.
SA Rugby officials will meet on Sunday after the Boks' final Tri-Nations match against Australia, to decide which Springboks should be subject to rest and recovery, and which ones should be released for Currie Cup duty with their provinces, according to OFM Sport.
Juan Smith (flank and captain), Jongi Nokwe (wing) and Adriaan Strauss (hooker) are the Free State players currently involved with the Springboks.
Another Cheetahs player, prop CJ van der Linde, has been suspended for four weeks following his citing for dangerous play in last Saturday's Test match against Australia in Durban.
Van der Linde will in any case be packing his bags and departing to Magners League side Leinster, where he will be playing his rugby next season.
In turn, WP will also be desperately hoping that they can count on the services of Springboks Jean de Villiers (center), Conrad Jantjes (fullback), Enrico Januarie (scrumhalf), Schalk Burger (flank), Andries Bekker (lock), Brian Mujati (prop) and Luke Watson (flank) for the crucial Bloemfontein match against the Cheetahs on September 5.
