Dollie's Cavalier days are over

Isma-eel Dollie's season is over. A month after the Western Province-contracted flyhalf rejoined the Boland Cavaliers, he sustained a groin injury against the Sharks that rules him out for the rest of the season.
"It is sad," Dollie said.
"The specialist ruled me out for six weeks which mean I will not return to the playing field this season."
That was not the only bad news coach Deon Davids received ahead of Saturday's Currie Cup match against Griquas in Kimberley.
Hard-working lock Frikkie Spies will also miss the rest of the season after sustaining a shoulder injury against the Sharks and right wing Danwell Demas could not be selected because of a shoulder injury, while hooker Clemen Lewis will sit it out with a knee injury.
"It is really tough when your group of players is not that big. But I suppose it is something the so-called smaller unions have to live with," coach Deon Davids said.
Demas will be replaced by promising young Cornell Hendricks on the right wing, while Boland's most experienced player, Piet van Zyl, takes Hendricks' place at centre.
Elgar Watts takes over the No.10 jersey from Dollie, while Marnus Hugo returns at scrumhalf at the expense of Neil Papier. Papier now finds himself amongst the replacements.
And up front towering Nico Esterhuizen comes in for Spies.
