Province coach John Dobson is confident that they can get a positive result down in Johannesburg.

Dobson said: "I promise you, this week we'll be up for the Lions match.

"We need to get five points in Johannesburg. They [Bulls] have an easier run in to the semifinal."

However, Dobson will have a number of stars returning for this vital match, and this will please the coach.

"You're adding Juan de Jongh, Cheslin Kolbe, Steven Kitshoff, Rynhardt Elstadt and Chris Cloete to that group, so we are up for this one [Lions match]," added Dobson.

Dobson says that he will not start his Springbok centre, De Jongh, against the Lions because of "the length of his injury."

"But he will definitely be in the mix," added the coach.

Province seem to have unearthed a few jewels in the form of flyhahlf Robert du Preez and Jonny Kotze.

Both players have been a revelation this season, especially Du Preez.

He ran in two tries against the Pumas and he has been very reliable with the boot.

"I am happy with Robert [Du Preez]," added Dobson.

"Johnny Kotze is growing very fast. He and Bongi [Mbongeni Mbonambi] were outstanding last week."
