TEAM ANNOUNCEMENT: Griquas coach Peter Engledow wasted no time in bringing back his big guns for their opening Currie Cup match of the season.

He made a number changes for the encounter with the Sharks in Durban on Friday.

It is Griquas' first match of the season, after their Round One encounter with the Eastern Province Kings - scheduled for last week - was postponed.

Flank RJ Liebenberg, who was rested - together with other senior players in their final Currie Cup qualifying clash with Leopards - is back for this weekend's clash.

Liebenberg will captain the Kimberly side in Durban.

He takes over the captaincy from centre Jacobus Jonker.

Clinton Swart will start at flyhalf, where he will be partnered by scrumhalf Rudi van Rooyen.

Meanwhile, Adriaan Coertzen, who also missed out in the last game, will start at fullback.

Griquas last played in July, when they went down 17-37 to Leopards.

Griquas: 15 Adriaan Coertzen, 14 Ederies Arendse, 13 Jacobus Jonker, 12 Johnathan Francke, 11 Alshaun Bock, 10 Clinton Swart, 9 Rudi van Rooyen, 8 Jason Fraser, 7 RJ Liebenberg (captain), 6 Wendal Wehr, 5 Jonathan Barry Janse van Rensburg, 4 Mzwanele Zito, 3 Stephan Clyde Kotzé, 2 Marius Fourie, 1 Willem Andries Stephanus Roberts.
