INJURY UPDATE: The Sharks will be without loose forward Lubabalo Mtembu for their clash against the Blue Bulls at Kings Park on Saturday.

Mtembu injured his left knee in his team's 41-20 win over Boland last weekend. He has been sent for an MRI Scan to determine the severity of the injury and will not be considered for selection this week.

Another player who will not be facing the Bulls is scrumhalf Michael Claassens who has a knee ligament injury.

Meanwhile, Sharks team doctor Alan Kourie confirmed that flyhalf Patrick Lambie has commenced gym training and will be eased back into field training over the next few weeks.

Loose forward Daniel du Preez is is recovering well from his groin strain and is expected to return to play in two to three weeks.
