INJURY UPDATE: There were no new major injury concerns for the Sharks ahead of their Round Five clash with Western Province at Newlands in Cape Town on Saturday.

Prop Dale Chadwick suffered a minor hamstring strain in his team's 26-19 win over the Blue Bulls and will undergo a late fitness test.

Lock Stephan Lewies is still unavailable with a hamstring strain, while scrumhalf Michael Claassens has returned to training this week following a knee ligament sprain.

The Sharks are currently sitting at the top of the Currie Cup Premier Division standings after four wins from four.

They are currently five points ahead of the second-placed Free State Cheetahs. However, the Sharks have played one more game so far.
