Kruger back for Golden Lions

TEAM ANNOUNCEMENT: The Golden Lions have been forced into making changes for their first home Currie Cup match of the season.

The Lions, who lost to the Pumas in the first round in Nelspruit last week, host Griquas at Ellis Park this coming Saturday - a curtain raiser to the Super Rugby semifinal between the Lions and Hurricanes.

Dillon Smit will wear the No.9 jersey, after Marco Jansen van Vuren got injured against the Pumas last weekend.

Flank Robert Kruger returns to action after a lay-off because of injury.

Centre Jacques Nel and fullback Jaco van der Walt also come into the fray this week.

The team will against be captained by Sharks import Ryan Kankowski.
