REACTION: Sharks head coach Robert du Preez has hinted that there could be rotation at pivot ahead of their match against the Blue Bulls on Wednesday.

For the second week in a row, the Sharks kept the opposition try-less, after their 41-3 bonus-point win over the Griquas

The Sharks found themselves 7-0 up within four minutes of play and went onto score an additional five tries which included Sibusiso Nkosi's brace.

Despite the perfect scoreline, the Sharks' accuracy were diluted with handling errors and individual mistakes.

"The first half was not good, it was really tough out there not ideal playing conditions. The ball was wet and there was a lot of dew on the grass," Du Preez told reporters after the match.

"Nonetheless, we produced a good second half. We created a lot of opportunities which we did not convert but we are gradually improvising in that aspect,"

Du Preez added he expected more from the Griquas. Especially after their managed to score six tries against the Golden Lions last weekend.

"In terms of the Griquas, they have been scoring a lot of tries. I don’t think this was their best performance. We expected them to run the ball, instead they opted to kick," he added.

Recently Sharks promising young flyhalf Curwin Bosch has been included in the 34-man Springbok squad.

The flyhalf who can also don the 15 jersey, was substituted for Inny-Christian Radebe at the weekend, and the coach has hinted that it could occur more often in future.

"We will definitely see rotation going forward," Du Preez said.

"We have some good number 10s in our set up. The guys [like Radebe, Garth April and Bosch] are versatile and can cover flyhalf and fullback," he added.

Unlike the Pumas and Griquas, the Durban side's next two fixtures pose more of a threat. Du Preez's charges will take on the Blue Bulls at Loftus Versfeld on Wednesday and then will head to Johannesburg to face the Golden Lions on Saturday, August 12.
