TEAM ANNOUNCEMENT: Niell Jordaan will be leading the Free State Cheetahs when they take on the Pumas in a Currie Cup Round Four match in Nelspruit on Wednesday.

Jordaan takes over the captaincy from regular skipper Francois Venter, who has joined the Springboks ahead of the Rugby Championship.

William Small-Smith has been moved to outside centre in the absence of Venter, with Ryno Benjamin called up to start at inside centre.

Coach Rory Duncan made several other changes for this midweek outing.

Retshegofaditswe Nche replaced Charles Marais at loosehead prop, with Erich de Jager coming onto the replacement bench as front row cover.

Joseph Dweba moves to the bench, while Jacques du Toit named to start - after making his comeback from a long injury lay-off.

Namibian international Johannes Coetzee will be starting at tighthead prop.

Springbok call-ups also forced other changes on the coach.

Henco Venter will be replacing Teboho Mohoje on the flank, after the latter's call-up to the Bok squad.

Jasper Wiese will be making his Currie Cup debut at No.8.  He replaced Uzair Cassiem (also in the Springbok squad).

Junior Pokomela and Jacobus Jonker were added to the replacement bench.
