Montpellier's All Black scrumhalf Justin Marshall has been cited for an alleged dangerous tackle in the European Challenge Cup.
Marshall is due to appear before an independent Disciplinary Committee in Dublin on Thursday as a result of the citing arising from the Round One game against Bristol.
The citing lodged by the Citing Commissioner for the match, Alberto Recaldini (Italy), is for an alleged dangerous tackle on Bristol wing Tom Arscott in contravention of Law 10.4 (e).
The independent Disciplinary Committee will chaired by Mark McParland (Ireland) and also consist of Rob Flockhart (Scotland) and Simon Thomas (Wales).
Law 10.4 (e) - Dangerous tackle: A player must not tackle an opponent early, late or dangerously.
