Lachlan Mackay slots in at No.10 for the in-form French Top 14 side with English flyhalf Andy Goode given a two week holiday by the club.
Johan van Zyl captains the side from the second row as Brive head into the first of two back-to-back clashes with the Spainish Champions El Salvador.
