Gloucester coach Bryan Redpath has insisted that his side will be taking the group stages of the Amlin Challenge Cup seriously this season, and has said that winning the tournament would be 'huge' for the club.
The Premiership side start their Challenge Cup tilt against up-and-coming French side Agen, and Redpath insist that he will feild a strong side in the group stages.
"You've got to start somewhere and the squad is far more settled this season, certainly I learnt a lot last season," Redpath BBC Gloucestershire.
"You've got to give it your all to give yourself a chance - winning a tournament is huge for any club."
Redpath feels that match against the newly-promoted Top 14 side could go a long way towards deciding the outcome of the group.
"We've got to start better to give ourselves a chance to go through as leaders of the group.
"To have a home game at the end with hopefully our
destiny in our own hands then, in some parts, the away game first is quite good."
