Sale suffer another injury blow

Guinness Premiership side Sale Sharks have suffered yet another as Spanish wing Oriol Ripol faces a spell on the sidelines after breaking his arm in their 18-17 defeat to the Blues on Saturday.
Ripol is the third play in four days to suffer a long term injury for the Stockport side and has clearly added to the headaches of, Director or Rugby, Phillipe Saint-Andre.
Last Wednesday night’s 28-6 defeat to London Irish came at an even bigger cost with hooker Sebastian Bruno rupturing a bicep while lock Sean Cox dislocated his knee cap.
"We've lost three players for a few months - Cox, Bruno and Ripol - so it's been a bad four days,” said Saint-Andre.
Sale take on Clermont Auvergne on Saturday in their opening matchup of the new Heineken Cup season and will now have to try and bounce back after two successive defeats in two different competitions.
