Warriors re-shuffle for Exiles

Fri, 05 Feb 2010 18:18

Wing wonder Marcel Garvey is recalled to the Worcester Warriors line-up for the LV= Cup clash with London Irish at Sixways Stadium on Saturday.

Garvey, who recently signed a new deal at Warriors, is one of three changes made by Director of Rugby Mike Ruddock from the team that tasted defeat at Gloucester in the last pool game.

Warriors Academy product Greg King is named at inside centre alongside Dale Rasmussen, with Sam Tuitupou unavailable after being given permission to return to New Zealand this week.

There is a direct swap in the front row where prop Tevita Taumoepeau is promoted into the starting XV, with Olivier Sourgens moving to the bench, while Will Bowley is also named among the replacements.

Tom Wood and Miles Benjamin are not selected as they will represent England Saxons in Italy on Sunday.  Alex Grove is among the replacements for Scotland against France in Sunday's Six Nations clash.

Matt Mullan returns to the Warriors squad from senior England training and is named among the replacements.
