Daly hails Wasps boss

Wasps centre Daly scored one of Wasps' seven scores with a stunning solo effort in a ruthless second-half display from the Premiership side.

It secured Wasps top spot in pool five ahead of three-time winners and reigning champions Toulon, who failed to get a bonus point in their win over Bath.

"Dai's given us the confidence to play in this competition and in the Premiership as well," Daly told EPC Rugby.

"We came into this game knowing we needed five points and the confidence in this squad is massive. We were unlucky against Toulon last week but we felt we put in a good performance.

"To back it up at home with a performance like this is incredible.

"In their last four games Leinster haven't conceded over 11 points in any of them so we were going into this one knowing it was going to be a very tough game.

"To perform like that was out of this world. We did the basics really well, we talked all week about going at them with the ball and keeping hold of it.

"There were a few dodgy offloads but when we did keep hold of the ball we were very good at creating try-scoring opportunities.

"Our Premiership form has been inconsistent this season so we need to go back there and get a few wins under our belt now and climb the table."
