Defending Premiership champions London Wasps received a timely boost at the weekend with the news that kicking coach Rowly Williams has agreed to continue his role with the club throughout the 2008/09 season.
The 47-year-old Welshman joined the Wasps four years ago and has played a key role in their success.
This completes Ian McGeechan's pedigree coaching set up at Wasps.
Williams will continue to work with the First XV, Academy and Academy Apprenticeship squads.
As well as his Wasps role, Williams will also continue working with Super League side Wigan Warriors next season.
Rowly's efforts were clear both and off pitch last season as Wasps topped the Guinness Premiership's kicking polls - recording the highest percentage ratio in Dave Walder with 85 percent and the highest percentage return for a kicker in Danny Cipriani with 75 percent, as well as the greatest number of conversions within the league.
"It's extremely rewarding when you're able to watch youngsters like Danny Cipriani develop into one of the Premiership's brightest flyhalves," Williams said.
"The same goes for Dominic Waldouck taking his kicking to the next level."
On the news of Rowly's continued service with the club, McGeechan said: "I am delighted that Rowly [Williams] will continue to work with Wasps next season.
"His dedication to developing our players has paid dividends over the last three seasons and he has helped us to develop not only some great individual performers, but added strength to the squad as a whole."
