Hill hopes time away will help

Sat, 15 Nov 2008 10:39

Bristol Rugby head coach Richard Hill says he has no doubt Northampton will arrive at the Memorial Stadium this weekend expecting to take a full set of points against his struggling Premiership side.

Hill’s men currently find themselves at the wrong end of the table and still without a league win in the new season. Already five points adrift from 11th placed London Wasps, Hill admits his side have spent the last couple of weeks searching for answers.

"We have spent the past few weeks trying to fine-tune our game and establish our best possible line-up before going into the next phase of matches," said Hill.

"After the first five games, we needed that time away from the league. We've done as much as we can in my view.

"We've changed what needed to be changed and improved where we needed to improve, but the proof will be in the performance against Northampton.

"It is a big game for us. A win can turn things around for us enormously, but it's a big game for Northampton as well as they will be expecting to beat the team at the bottom of the table."

Can Bristol turn it around or are they going to struggle? Can they get the first win this weekend against the Saints?
