Quins aim to end with a bang

Fri, 02 May 2008 15:17

Harlequins have made three changes to the starting line up which faced London Irish two weeks ago, for their final Guinness Premiership league fixture at the Twickenham Stoop this Sunday against Sale Sharks.

All changes are in the forwards, Tom Guest comes back in at number 8, putting Nick Easter on the bench.

Hooker, Tani Fuga comes into the front row to replace the injured Gary Botha, with Chris Brooker filling the spot on the bench, and James Percival partners George Robson in the second row instead of Ollie Kohn.

The backline remains unchanged.

Harlequins Director of Rugby, Dean Richards is looking forward to the match, and spoke about the clash.

"Although everyone associated with Harlequins knows how important this match is, the boys will be running out today in the right frame of mind.

"You have to remember that each game is only as important as the last one, something I stress both to players and supporters.

"It is all about the mind set, and we will go out there again, like every match previously, and give it our all," said Richards.

Harlequins: 15 Mike Brown, 14 David Strettle, 13 Ugo Monye, 12 Tosh Masson, 11 Tom Williams, 10 Adrian Jarvis, 9 Danny Care, 8 Tom Guest, 7 Will Skinner (captain), 6 Chris Robshaw, 5 George Robson, 4 James Percival, 3 Mike Ross, 2 Tani Fuga, 1 Ceri Jones.
Replacements: 16 Chris Brooker, 17 John Brooks, 18 Jim Evans, 19 Nick Easter, 20 Steven So'oialo, 21 Chris Malone, 22 De Wet Barry.
